Brief Description:
The best of all the medium tourism one. Whale Route & Hermanus, Mossel Bay, Little Karoo, Knysna, Wilderness, Tsitsikamma forests, Plettenberg Bay, Natures valley, Oudtshoorn, Outstanding Scenery, Whales (July-Nov), Ostrich farms, Cango Caves, Indigenous forests, big 5 safari, Coastlines.

Day 1:

We take an early start at 8:00 am in Cape Town our guide will meet you and we set of on the N2 for the Garden route via the picturesque Clarens Drive along the spectacular coastline through Betty Bay to Hermanus with the pounding surf of the mighty Indian hundreds of feet below.

Through Strand, Gordons Bay to the small fishing village of Hermanus (The Whale Capitol of the World). Its Whale season and you WILL see sometimes up to 60 whales in the Bay sometimes as near as 50m, its awesome !!!!!!

After lunch we proceed via Swellendam with its tremendous White Cape Dutch Architecture to Barrydale gem village on the Route 62 in the heart of the Little Karoo.

Day 2:

After a BIG great traditional breakfast option (excl) we go Brandy and Wine Tasing at Barrydale Cellars.

We travel into a different world, warm, arid, dry but covered in fascinating vegetation, the occasional Springbok and the Ostrich next to the road. Visit the unique Ronnies Sex Shop (Famous bikers pub) via Ladysmith to Calitzdorp for some more wine and dried fruit tasting at Boplaas cellars (Incl)and on to Oudtshoorn, Ostrich Capital Oudtshoorn, center of the Ostrich Kingdom.

You have an option (excl) to visit an Ostrich Show Farm where you can see, feel, touch, sit on and ride one. The an option (excl) to see Cango Wildlife resort with Crocodile- and Cheetahs and the option (excl) the famous Cango Caves and explore every piece of it's clammy splendor. We relax at the pool at De Poort Guest House in the Swartberg Mountains where we enjoy a superb Ostrich traditional supper

Day 3:

After a big breakfast we depart via the 860m Robinson Pass for Mossel Bay , historical town since 1488

With it's temperate climate Mossel Bay has the best weather in SA. We explore this little bustling fishing town. You have an option (Excl) to do a Bay cruise to tyhe seal island.

After lunch on the beach we depart for Knysna, Jewel of the Garden Route via George, Dolphin's Point, Wilderness with its 5 kilometer long beautiful beaches & forests. Then we head through Sedgefield to the most picturesque town on the Garden Route - Knysna.

Option to kick off the shoes for a canoe ride (incl) on Knysna Estuary,

Visit African Craft Market, Waterfront, The Heads (live cam)

Option for afternoon sundowner cruise on the lagoon (excl).

Option to go Quad biking 6km in the forest (Excl)

Option to vist Knysna Elephant farm to feed Ellies (Excl)

Or relax next to the pool or watch the sun set from Bollard Bay walking distance from our guesthouse. Tides Restaurant is 2 min walk

Day 4:

After early breakfast we travel to Plettenberg Bay with its incredible beaches and vibe !!!

Here we have an option (excl) to visit the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary and the New Birdes of Eden Bird Dome or do a Whale/dolphin and seal cruise (excl) in the bay. (Only July-Nov).

Up through Nature's Valley we enter the thick green indigenous forests with its Yellow Wood giants and ferns. Up through the passes of Bobbejaans and Blou Krans Passes. Here we see the world's highest 216-meter bungi jumpand option to Jump (excl).

Option to to Tsitsikamma Zip line (excl) across the canyons.

Day 5:

Early start after breakfast we head along to the Addo & Scotia Lion Ranch (Included) with the lions of the Eastern Cape.

Also rino, hippo, giraffe, buck, wildebeest, zebra, springbok, Kudu.

First we do a game drive through Addo National Elephant Park (incl) with its 500 Elephants, Black Rhino, Lion, Antelope & Birds.

After lunch we head for the best Night Lion Safari in Southern Africa at Scotia Lion ranch where we do an open 4x4 jeep equipped with bars and spotlights we search for Lion, Hippo, Giraffe, Rhino, and other antelope and return to our Lapa for a stunning supper (Traditional Potjie Kos) under African skies where we end the evening singing around the hugh campfire.

Our bus returns you safely to Port Elizabeth guest house with the Airport 3 km away
