Description: Departure place: Cape Town International Airport or other Itinerary \: (Day1) At Cape Town Airport our guide will meet you and go check you into your Hotel on the Waterfront. After freshening up we set of on a sightseeing tour of Cape Town including the Cable Car (weather permitting) up Table Mountain with its awesome panoramic view of the entire Peninsula. We end the day with a relaxing cruise on a sailing ship on Table Bay experiencing the African Sunset at its best with enough Champagne to swim in. Supper is at the famous Mama Afrika Restaurant on Lang Street with their African faire and live vibrant drums and marimbas. Accommodation: Cape Town Guesthouse**** BB Supper: Excluded (Day 2) After breakfast we do a Peninsula tour and we travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Seapoint, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Bakoven, see the Fish Market in Hout Bay, visit the Seal Colony by ocean going vessel, along the spectacular Coastline through Constantia Neck, to Boulders at SimonsTown and the Naval Base where we interact with the Jack-ass Penguins. On along the coastal drive along False Bay on to Cape Point National Park. Here we take a funicular to the top of the look out point, hundreds of feet above the pounding surf and the place where the mighty Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Along the sheer cliffs to Fish Hook across the infamous "Cape Flats" to Stellenbosch and Knorhoek Wine Estate. Accommodation: Knorhoek Wine Estate**** BB Lunch: Two Oceans Restaurant Exc. (Day 3) Great traditional breakfast we head up the beautiful Franshoek Valley back to the coast to the small fishing village of Hermanus (The Whale Capitol of the World July to Nov). We leave Hermanus, through Gansbaai, and on to Cape Agullas, the most southern tip of Africa. Through Swellendam for lunch, with it's tremendous White Cape Dutch Architecture. On to Mossel Bay. With it's temperate climate we take an unforgettable trip on a sailing ship to see the 4000 Cape Fur Seals on Seal Island in the Bay. We shop the flea markets in this little bustling fishing. As evening approach we check into our Guesthouse on the beach. Accommodation: Point Village Guest House**** BB Lunch: Excl. Supper: Excluded. Day 4: After breakfast we travel up the mountains up the Robinson Pass with the indigenous Fynbos and Protea & Erica. We pass over the mountains into a different world, warm, arid, dry but covered in fascinating vegetation, the occasional Springbok and the Ostrich next to the road. We travel into the heart of the Little Karoo. We set of to Oudtshoorn, center of the Ostrich Kingdom, off to Safari Ostrich Show Farm where you can see, feel, touch, sit on and ride one. A delightful lunch is served on the terrace with Red Wine, Ostrich Steak, Roast Potatoes and Salad. Last stop is the unforgettable Cango Caves set in the mysterious Swart Berg Mountains where you do only the scenic short tour. We end a perfect day at our Lodge deep in the Mountains. Accommodation: De Poort Guest House**** DBB Lunch: Safari Ostrich Incl Supper: Traditional SAcuisine BBQ - De Poort Incl Day 5: From our unique guesthouse we head for the Great Karoo and Navigate the tremendous Swartberg Pass. Looking down from the viewpoint the air is cold and clean and one can see into tomorrow. Down the other side with its fascinating red rock formations and Fynbos we arrive in Prince Albert. So big that you can walk through it in 10 minutes, yet full of rich history and sights. After a great lunch of Karoo lamb we head down the R407 to Meirings Poort where we stop in the gorge for a refreshing walk with 400m mountains towering above us on either side. We pass through De Rust with its interesting mix of house styles from all influences, past Oudtshoorn onto George via the 800m Outeniqua Pass. We drive past some indigenous forest to Dolphin's Point, beautiful Wilderness, and then we head through Sedgefield to the most picturesque town on the Garden Route - Knysna. We do a sundowners cruise on the Lagoon & check out some African arts and crafts. Accommodation: Knysna Guest House**** BB Lunch: Excl. Supper: JJs Waterfront Excl. Day 6: Today we visit a local Black pre-school facility and have a cultural interaction. Then its off to Tsitsikamma via Plettenberg Bay and Natures Valley, thick green indigenous forests with its Yellowwood and giants and tree ferns. Up through the passes of Bobbejaans and Blou Krans passes with the highest 216 meter Bungi jump in the world. Tsitsikamma National Park. We head for the Sunshine coast and Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Accommodation: Brooks Hill Suite**** BB Lunch: Plettenberg Bay Excl Supper: Excluded. Day 7: After breakfast we do a short drive through of PE and head out towards Grahamstown in Frontier Country into the Ciskei to East London on the Buffalo River.
Into the Transkei via Kei Bridge past Nelson Mandela's Home to Umtata, capital of the Transkei. We are in the rural heartland of the Xhosa Nation, a region where the 21st Century and yesterday have not met. We head to Umtata Capital of the Transkei, for many a wild destination, for me, HOME for it is here where I was born, for some or just marvel at a place so wild and untouched. Day 8: Today we leave this wonderland early and via Umtata on via Kokstad, Bizana, Flagstaff to Port Edward in Kwa Zulu Natal, on to Durban.
We visit the Natal Sharks Board Museum, Shaka Marine World one of the best Aquariums in the world. Accommodation: Annie's Place BB Lunch: Exec Supper: Exec (Day 9): Along the Golden Mile up the beautiful scenic North Coast of Kwa Zulu Natal, Stanger, birth place of Shaka your guide accompanies you to Eshowe and Shakaland with traditional Zulu music, dance & culture in the valley of 1000 hills.

(Day 14) Our journey today takes us via Kruger Gate to the West exit on the Kruger to Sabie and we descend into the magnificent Mapumalanga though the Blyde river Canyon, Bourks Luck Potholes, to Pilgrims Rest.
