BALLOONS OVER AFRICA offers scenic hot air balloon flights in the beautiful Sabie River valley, near Hazyview in Mpumalanga. Hazyview is a small town situated about halfway between the southern section of the Kruger Park, and the scenic attractions of the Northern Drakensberg escarpment – a convenient location from which to explore the whole area!

Balloon flights take place at sunrise while the air is still cool and stable, before the earth heats up. In windy, rainy or otherwise marginal conditions the pilot will postpone or cancel the flight – safety is the prime consideration – but generally flying conditions are good, and the cancellation rate is low. Balloon flights are offered all year round in this area.

Depart Blyde river Canyon, Bourke Luck Potholes, to the Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park to our rest camp.

We spend the whole day game driving.

Hamilton's Tented Camp accommodates in 6 magnificently appointed romantic tents overlooking the Ngwenyeni Dam. Each luxury safari tents in Kruger Park has a romantic slipper bath, out door shower overlooking the Ngwenyeni dam and a private verandah. Hamilton's Tented Camp attractions, facilities and services include game drives, sightseeing, bush walks, bird watching in the hide overlooking the waterhole, swimming pool and butler service for the luxury safari tents in Kruger Park.

The camp is unfenced and wildlife moves freely throughout the camp, it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their children are accompanied at all times. Children under the ages of 8 may only visit if one of the camps is booked for the exclusive use of a party.

(Day 7)

We spend the whole day game driving and top the action with a night drive on open vehicles.

Hamilton's Tented Camp meal times are not to be missed. Breakfast is at 09:00am – 10:30am, Lunch is at 14pm – 15pm and dinner is at 8:30pm. Check in time is between 11am – 14pm, check out time is at 11am at Hamilton's. The water is safe to drink, while bottled water is placed in your room courtesy of Hamilton's Tented Camp.

Hamilton's Tented Camp activities and attractions offer 2 game drives daily for your suggested itinerary in Kruger Park. In summer morning drives depart at 05:30am and evening drives depart at 17:30pm. In winter morning drives depart at 06am and evening drives depart at 16pm, for a safari in Kruger Park.

Hamilton's Tented Camp morning game drives last about 3 hours. Evening game drives last about 4 hours with a stop for sundowners before viewing nocturnal animals on your safari in Kruger Park. Hamilton's Tented Camps dress code is casual, with a congenial atmosphere. Tea and coffee is available in the lounge area at no additional charge and a fully licensed bar is available.

Today we drive into the Kingdom of Swaziland via Malelane Gate, Piggs Peak / Mbabane / Ngwenya Glass works & craft markets

We sleep over at Mbabane.

Today we visit a local Black pre-school facility and have a cultural interaction / leisure time for shopping and laundry / sundowners cruise on the Lagoon & check out some African arts and crafts.
