Port Elizabeth - Garden Route Route 62 Cape Town 7 day
Day 1
Fly in PE internal flight. PE Pick up / Eco Afrika Welcome Board
We depart to Eastern Cape. We travel to Scotia Game Reserve. We meet Steve the crocodile and check into the Lapa and enjoy a cold drink or coffee before we board the 4X4 Landrovers. We see Rhino, giraffe, Hippo, Kudu, Blesbok, Warthog, Springbok, Impala, Mountain Reedbuck, Bushbuck, Eland, Redhartebeest, Oryx ans other antelope keep crossing our tracks and into the night by spotlight, until we finally find the majestic Lions of the Eastern Cape. These lions are free ranging and although we cannot guarantee a kill it we have witnessed it several times. A memorable Potjiekos prepared on open fire is served upon our return in the open air Lapa. Sipping on a good red wine, a good BBQ and the sounds of the African Bush just outside our perimeter is a setting that will burn an image into everyone heart forever. We enjoy Supper at Scotia.

Day 2
After breakfast we do a Game walk with ranger then round 10 am we depart to the Addo National Elephant Park. With our experienced tracker guide we soon round up the great herds of Elephant and their newly born, only meters away from our vehicle. Ostrich, Eland, Kudu, Redhartebeest and Warthog are plentiful. We enjoy a light lunch at Addo Restcamp Restaurant and browse through the magnificent Curio Shop.
The park offers 325 Elephant, Rhino, Cape Buffalo, Zebra, Ostrich, Eland, Kudu, Redhartebeest, Warthog and a multitude of bird species. Here we will take you to within meters of these gentle giants. At the moment there are about 20 babies as well.

Day 3
After a excellent breakfast we depart for the Garden Route via Tsitsikamma National Park to Knysna. Lunch Excluded -overlooking serene Storms River Mouth
Off N2 cross Bloukrans & Bobbejaans Pass. Stop to see Bungi jumpers on highest jump in the world 216m. Beautiful indigenous forest's with giant Outeniqua Yellowood & Stinkwood trees & Pure white Arum Lilies, Watsonia's and Orchard. Vervet Monkeys & Chachma Baboons on the roadside. We see the beautiful Nature's Valley and do a forest walk to find the elusive Knysna Loerie. With the picturesque Tsitsikamma Mountains in the backdrop, we turn of for the millionaire's playground, Plettenberg Bay marvel at the beauty of Bahia de Formosa from the Lookout over the miles of white pristine beaches, the Keurbooms Valley & Lagoon, the beautiful Beacon Isle Hotel and Robberg with its Seal Colony. We move into the heart of the Garden Route to Knysna, established by George Rex in 1805. If time allows, we do a sundowner cruise on the Knysna Lagoon on the ferry.
With the massive Knysna Heads as a backdrop frame you have secured one of the best pictures you will ever take.

Day 4
Knysna City tour & continue through to George nestling at the foot of the mighty Outeniqua Mountain. We continue over the 800m Outeniqua Pass with its 4 passes into the majestic Little Karoo, Ostrich Kingdom and Oudtshoorn; Cango Caves; Ostrich Farm, Cango Cheetah & Croc Farm.

Day 5
Route 62; Calitzdorp; Montagu; Aston; Robertson; Worcester - Winelands ; Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
Accommodation: Knorhoek Wine Farm **** DBB - Accredited Guesthouse in quaint setting.
Supper: BBQ Incl
Day 6
After breakfast we travel to Cape Town & set of on a sightseeing tour of Cape Town including the Cable Car up Table Mountain with it's awesome panoramic view of the entire Peninsula. Along the coast we tour on to Bantry Bay, Clifton, enjoy the Fish Market in Hout Bay, along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard on to Cape Point National Park.
Here we walk to the top of the look out point, hundreds of feet above the pounding surf and the place where the mighty Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. On to Boulders and its Jackass penguins, Simons Town (Naval Base) along the sheer cliffs past Fish Hook back to Cape Town.

Day 7
After a great traditional breakfast and some shopping in the Waterfront we transfer to Airport for flight home.
