Knysna Deep Sea Fishing

Have an awesome experience out at sea on the Indian Ocean and experience the sheer power of muscle wrenching game fishing, and the kaleidoscope of tasty reef fish. You might even see some dolphins and whales. Individual or whole boat charters daily.

We supply all gear, bait and tackle.

Common game fish - Yellow fin Tuna, Dorado, Barracuda (King Mackerel), Snoek (Queen Mackerel), Garrick, Yellow Tail, Prodigal Son and King Fish.

Where there are sharks, there are fish which they are feeding on. The reefs are inhabited by: Rock cod, Bream, Englishman, Singer, Stump nose, Scotsman, Mussel cracker, Red Steenbras, Pink Salmon, Geelbek (Salmon) and the majority of the other Red Fish Species.

We pride ourselves on clean, well maintained boats and our aim is to offer our clients a memorable experience with high standards of professional service.

Fully Equipped, GPS, Radio, Fish Finder, 2 x 125 Mariner Outboard Motors

Depart 7am Daily (Weather permitting)

We launch off central beach between 06h00 and 07h30, depending on the time of year. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the fishing grounds during which time you may have the opportunity of viewing marine animals such as whales, dolphins, seals and penguins in their natural habitat.

The species of fish we catch in our bay vary, depending on the season.
In summer warm water fish are caught such as Cape Salmon and Cob. In winter we catch cold-water fish, Hake and Red Roman amongst others. Some species such as sharks are caught all year round.

The trip includes a fully equipped 5-hour fishing adventure. Experienced deck hands will assist you with baiting up etc. You may keep all fish you catch within the bag limitations.
