Depart 6/7am Daily (Weather
permitting)
We launch from Knysna/Plett & Gouritz Mouth between 06h00 and
07h30, depending on the time of year. It takes approximately 25
minutes to reach the fishing grounds during which time you may have
the opportunity of viewing marine animals such as whales, dolphins,
seals and penguins in their natural habitat.
Light Tackle - Game Fishing
Heavy Tackle - Bottom Fishing
The species of fish we catch in our bay vary, depending on the
season.
In summer warm water fish are caught such as Cape Salmon and Cob. In
winter we catch cold-water fish, Hake and Red Roman amongst others.
Some species such as sharks are caught all year round.
The
trip includes a fully equipped 5-hour fishing adventure. Experienced
deck hands will assist you with baiting up etc. You may keep all
fish you catch within the bag limitations.
