Brief Description:
The best of all the medium tourism one. Cape Town, Peninsula Tour, Winelands, Whale Route & Hermanus, Cape Agullas, Mossel Bay, Little Karoo, Knysna, Wilderness, Tsitsikamma forests, Plettenberg Bay, Storms river mouth, Natures valley, Oudtshoorn and more.

Highlights: Outstanding Scenery, Whales (July-Nov), Agullas most Southern Tip of Africa, Ostrich farms, Cango Caves, Indigenous forests, big 5 safari, Coastlines.

We take an early start at 8:30 am in Cape Town our guide will meet you and we set of on a sightseeing tour of Cape Town including the Cable Car up Table Mountain with it's awesome panoramic view of the entire Peninsula.

We do a city tour, then along the Atlantic Seaboard coast we tour on to Bantry Bay, Clifton, browse through the Fish Market in Hout Bay, take a trip on a boat in the ocean to Seal Island.

Along the spectacular coastline through Chapmanspeak on to the Cape Point National Park.

Here we walk to the top of the look out point, hundreds of feet above the pounding surf and the place where the mighty Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

On to Boulders and its Jack-ass penguins, Simons Town (Naval Base) along the sheer cliffs to Fish Hook across the infamous Gangster's Palace the "Cape Flats", Kayalitcha on to Strand, Gordons Bay, and we check in at our accommodation in the small fishing village of Hermanus (The Whale Capitol of the World). Its Whale season and you WILL see sometimes up to 30 whales in the Bay sometimes as near as 50m, its awesome !!!!!!

 

Here we will enjoy our first evening under African Night Sky.

After a great traditional breakfast we leave Hermanus, through Gansbaai, and Tea in Cape Agullas, the most southern tip of Africa.

Back to the main road we pass through Swellendam with it's tremendous White Cape Dutch Architecture on to Mossel Bay, historical town since 1488

With it's temperate climate we take an unforgettable walk on Madibas beach.

We explore this little bustling fishing town. Then we have lunch on one of the safest beaches in South Africa. In the afternoon we check in at Botlierskop Game Reserve Luxury Safari Tents along the river.

After breakfast we do a Game drive for the Big 4 with Lions at 20 paces

Then we set of into the mountains of the Robinson Pass with the indigenous Fynbos and Protea, Erica and Redroot, into the Little Karoo. We travel into a different world, warm, arid, dry but covered in fascinating vegetation, the occasional Springbok and the Ostrich next to the road.

We travel to Oudtshoorn, centre of the Ostrich Kingdom. We do some shopping and set off an Ostrich Show Farm where you can see, feel, touch, sit on and ride one. From Safari we travel to the Crocodile- and Cheetah Farm.

We overnight in the foothills of the great Swartberg Mountains in our luxury mountain Retreat

From our unique guesthouse we tackle the famous Cango Caves and explore every piece of it's clammy splendour.

We then head for George via the 800m Outeniqua Pass. We drive through to Dolphin's Point. With cameras overheating we enter the true green Garden Route with kilometre beautiful beaches & forests.

Then we head through Sedgefield to the most picturesque town on the Garden Route - Knysna. We relax and watch the sun set from our guesthouse.

Next morning we board the Outeniqua steam train to George across the bridges & lakes of Wilderness.

Our guide will pick you up in George and we visit a local Black Township and mix with the local folk in the township.

We do a sundowner cruise on BEAUTIFUL Knysna Lagoon at sunset with Champagne included.

We also do some shopping at the arts and crafts markets of Knysna.

After breakfast we travel to Plettenberg Bay with its incredible beaches and vibe !!!

Here visit the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary and the New Birdes of Eden Bird Dome and see dolphin/whales in the bay. (Only July-Nov).

Up through Nature's Valley we enter the thick green indigenous forests with its Yellow Wood giants and ferns. Up through the passes of Bobbejaans and Blou Krans Passes. Here we see the world's highest 216-meter bungi jump.

On via Tsitsikamma with its splendor, we head along to the Addo & Lion Ranch with the lions of the Eastern Cape are abundant together with buck, wildebeest, zebra, springbok, Kudu. Here we climb onto open 4x4 game vechiles equipped with bars and spotlights we search for Lion, Hippo, Giraffe, Rhino, and other antelope and return to our Lapa for a stunning supper (Traditional Potjie Kos)

under African skies where we end the evening singing around the campfire.

We spend the night at our luxury Guest House close by in African style.

We sleep late then we set off to do a game drive through Addo National Elephant Park with its 326 Elephants, Black Rhino, Lion, Antelope & Birds.

After lunch we set off on the last leg of our journey to Port Elizabeth, the friendly city with its Penguin motif. We have just enough time to see the best sights of Port Elizabeth and get you safely and in time for your connection flight home.
