Our Cape to Addo Safaris has been operating since 1998 Addo Elephant Park is a free-roaming 145 000-hectare wildlife reserve where you can experience the thrill of game driving for the Big 5 and many other wild animals in their natural surroundings. This is a full 5 day Garden Route Tour designed to take in all that the Garden Route, Klein Karoo and the Whale Route has to offer. ITINERARY Day 1 Cape Town to Myoli Beach /Sedgefield N2, Swellendam, Early departure for the Garden Route. First stop is for a carnivore lunch (Excl) at the Connection in Swellendam We drop in at Mossel Bay for a beach break and refreshment This evening we stay at Myoli Beach backpackers situated directly on the Indian Ocean! Beach Party !!! Day 2 Myoli Beach to Jeffery’s Bay Today we drive to Knysna. We do a booze cruise on the estuary for blondes, birds, beers and oysters. Visit a Monkey Sanctuary where rescued monkeys roam free in a large jungle area and te biggest open air bird dome at Birds of Eden. Next stop is Bloukrans Bridge, the World’s highest commercial Bungee Jump at 216 meters! The the famous Zip line 200m at Tsitsikamma Falls We then drive to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa’s surf Mecca and known as the best left point break in the world! Overnight at Island Vive Backpackers Day 3 Jeffrey’s Bay to Addo Waking up in one of the most famous surfing towns in the world without going for a surf or a surf lesson is highly frowned upon, so this morning you have a change to surf " Jay Bay". From the surf to the tar we head over the big Gamtoos River for our Big 5 safari game drives. First is the world renowned Addo National Elephant Park with over 500 big ones roaming free, where you can also see Lions, Rhinos, Elephant, Giraffe and cheetahs! At 2:30 we board open off road jeeps and head into the hills and later into the best night lion safari at close range you will never forget . We often witness lion attacks and kills at 30m away !! Then a superb "Potjiekos" BBQ made in a pot on a fire we party the night away in our lapa around the big campfire with guitar and drums and the lions just outside our wood perimeter We overnite at Orange Elephant Backpackers Day 4 Addo to Oudtshoorn Here we visit the Cango Caves where we go on an adventure tour through huge caverns and tiny tunnels. We visit a working ostrich farm where you can even have a chance to see,touch, sit, hug, kiss or ride one of these birds (if you are under 75kgs) For the brave an optional excluded Crocodile cage dive We then carry on to Ronnies Sex Shop and the hot water springs at Warmwaterberge (say that 3 times fast) where you can have a swim. We party in the pool all night. Day 5 Warmwaterberg to Stellenbosh-Cape Town We wine taste our way down the famous Route 62 to Montaqu where we have an option for a trailer drive up the mountain or a booze cruise on the Breede River on the famous River Goose We arrive Cape Town after night fall INCLUDED
